Their Let’s Play Canada mantra doesn’t only apply to their customers. As committed community leaders, their passion for creating joy and laughter extends into charity efforts that support seriously ill children and their families. Now in our 21 st year of partnership, this year is no different, and Starlight Canada continues to be extraordinarily grateful for all that they do (which is a lot!).
3-Minute Dashes
This year, 10 seriously ill children from coast-to-coast were randomly selected to participate in the 3-Minute Dash! With their families and Captain Starlight by their side, children of all abilities and conditions race down the aisles of their local Toys“R”Us Canada store and grab all the toys they possibly can in 3 minutes!

11 th Annual Toys“R”Us Canada Grant Tour
Outside the walls of their stores, Toys“R”Us Canada also gives back to hospitalized children all across the country. Now in its 11 th year, this grant tour program has raised over $1 million dollars, and allows each of their 83 store locations across Canada to donate a portion of the funds directly to a local children’s hospital!
21 st Annual Toys“R”Us Canada Star Campaign
Where does this grant money come from that is donated directly back into the community? People like you! From now until December 29 th , Toys“R”Us Canada’s 21 st Annual Star Campaign allows their amazing customers to buy a star at check out in-store for as little as $1 in support of Starlight Canada!
