  I'm having the same issue! Once I've extracted the pages I need from the origional pdf and the extracted pages are in a new tab I'm not able to save the new extracted pages. I select save or save as and a blank window pops up.

  I am having the same problems. Never had this problem before but the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC won't let me 'Save As' - or when I have extracted a section of a pdf it won't let me save it at all. Tried all the things I could find on the forum, like turning off (or on again) the Preferences>General>show online storage.
